My Mother had a pancreatic cyst everyone thought it would be a straight forward operation to remove it, it wasn't, there were lots of complications. Mr Satyadas was excellent. the operation took a lot longer than anticipated but as soon as my mother came too he personally called me to let me know how it all went and even let me speak to my mother. she then spent approximately 8 week as an inpatient over 4 months, the whole team were fantastic the nurses, the other doctors and Mr Satyadas were very attentive and caring, they are all quite good at keeping your spirits up too. Even now three years on the care just keeps coming, Mr Thomas Satyadas is the doctor i would want if i were ever ill.

I had a liver resection on 30th November 2015 at MRI. Mr Satyadas phoned me the evening before to allay any concerns I had. He was reassuring and helped me to remain calm before the operation. After the surgery he visited me daily on HDU and on the ward. When I was discharged he phoned me at home to ensure that all was well. Unfortunately the drain in my would became dislodged and I had to go back to the hospital for a scan. Mr Satyadas met me in ultrasound and came into the scan with me and then arranged for a further drain to be fitted that same day. I was readmitted to hospital and again he visited me daily constantly reassuring me and keeping me informed. He even visited on the morning that he was going on holiday to make sure I was OK and discharged. Again, after being discharged, he phoned me at home. The care I have received has been second to none from Mr Satyadas and his team, I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is indeed first class!

I received excellent care from Dr. Satyadas and his team before my operation, during and afterwards. He even phoned me when I came home from the hospital to check how I was! After two liver re sections I am feeling fine and would not hesitate to have further investigations from Dr. Satyadas and the whole team at Manchester Royal.

On 2/2/16 I had laparoscopic hernia repair surgery. Not only was it successful but I experienced only minimal discomfort afterwards.Mr.Satyadas was very attentive and addressed my concerns fully, and even telephoned me at home twice during my recovery to ask about my welfare.I found him a really personable, likeable and dedicated man. After examining me on 19/2/16 he showed me,with my approval,a video of one of his similar operations which I found really interesting and informative.I am very grateful to him.
